Student Paper Contest

Guidelines for participants:
  • The paper must be about energy sources of the deep future other than (excluded sources): conventional energy such as nuclear, coil, oil as well as currently nature alternative energy sources as wind, solar, hydropower and geothermic;
  • The length of the abstract must be no longer than 1 page, written in English by using Times New Roman 11 pt fonts and normal page margins;
  • The paper must include title, author(s) name(s), affliction(s), abstract (description of the idea) and references;
  • The paper can be prepared by an individual or group of contesters;
  • The abstract must be sent to spe@nu.edu.kz with appropriate subject title (title of the paper/idea);
  • All finalists will be awarded with a certificate of participation.
Duration and dates:
  • Following a review by the organisers the best 10 papers will be selected for presentation during the event. The presentation must be no more than 5 min (fire presentation) and will take place on August 31 at 4.45 pm.
