Dhawal Shah

Dr. Dhawal Shah is an assistant professor in the department of chemical engineering at Nazarbayev University (NU) since August 2015. He received his B. Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology and Ph. D. degree from Singapore-MIT Alliance at NUS, Singapore. Prior to joining NU, he has been working as assistant professor at Middle East Technical University and Sultan Qaboos University. His research interests are computational chemistry and thermodynamics. He is involved in various projects on simulations of ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents, zeolites, and their applications in pollution abatement. He has 10 year of research experience and has authored over 15 journal articles, 15 conferences, 2 book chapters and has a book on role of arginine in protein stabilization.
